With so many different material types to work with, the sky’s the limit when it comes to coming up with a viable combination. Casper narrowed their options down to four material types that make up this 10-inch product:
- 1 ½ inch of open-cell comfort foam works to keep you cool and adds a bit of bounce
- 1 ½ inch of responsive memory foam provides contour
- 1 ½ inch of adaptive transition foam offers consistency in weight distribution
- 7 ½ inch durable support foam strengthens the comfort layers and adds long-lasting durability
I found this combination was successful in keeping me well supported. Although you don’t get direct contact with the memory foam, you can still feel it at work adding contour while the comfort foam on top acts to keep you from sinking in excessively and sleeping hot.
If you don’t weigh very much, your body isn’t going to interact as much with the memory foam.
